I realize there would usually be a 40 percent chance of missing him in a regular 3-game series, but coming off the AS break, you would think you'd be sure to face the other team's ace in a three-game series. Thank goodness Jimenez was the starting pitcher in the AS game and threw 2 innings ... and thank goodness Jim Tracy thought that was enough to make him miss this series. Things are falling our way this year! There have been a couple setbacks -- like the Phillies series right before the break where we could have won any of the four games, but got swept, and the Braves game earlier in the year -- but for the most part things have really bounced our way this year. Jimenez is lights-out good, instead we're getting Cook today and we got a broken-down De La Rosa last night (cue STP: he's half the man he used to be). Yeah, I'll take it.
