Josh Hamilton now has a 4.9 H/BB ratio (132/27).

Two questions:

(1) Why is anybody throwing him anything decent to hit with that ratio (he's more than twice as likely to get an XBH than a BB), and

(2) Does this have any relevance to Juan Francisco?

Stat-heads?

Hamilton is just a beast, wish we had him back. Juan Francisco is no Josh Hamilton.

Hamilton is great, but if Volquez can return to pre surgery form, I still make that deal.

I don't really understand this question and what they have to do with each other I guess? Unless you're talking about our future LF in Francisco. I have high hopes for him and both teams are doing well with the Volquez/Hamilton trade

If the Reds had held on to Hamilton I'm sure they would be leading the central now. He might be the difference between making or not making the playoffs this year.

I'm not saying that having Volquez is a bad thing, I just think up to this point Hamilton has more value. Maybe three years from now I will have a different opinion and I hope I do.
