Really have to call out the Reds management on their use of Leake.

Kid has been great, he's a super draft choice, thrilled he's a Red. But at this stage he hits a wall after 80-85 pitches. It recently happened, for example, in the Philly debacle when he pitched into the ninth inning.

Reds need to have a quicker hook when this pitcher is out there. Seems so obvious and it's annoying that they keep leaving him out there too long.

As I predicted in the first inning, and got called out for it, the Reds couldn't do anything with Wandy, as is usually the case. Maybe other folks have all kinds of fancy statistics about how the Reds do against leftys, but my eyes tell me that they have a rough time and Rodriguez has always been tough against them. This team is very good, but expect to see them in second place by tonight. No biggie, but it could have been a great day if they had won (and they still have a chance). As for me, I going to get something to eat and hope for the best.

Keep in mind a primary righty hitter, Rolen, is out. Makes it tougher against lefties throwing well.

Lindstrom's got some solid stuff. He's another guy I'd target.

Gomes goes up there, down by 4, with one guy on base, and swings out of his shoes at all 3 pitches he sees.

Just dumb.

I'm not sure you can afford NOT to address the offense if you really are trying to win this year. Can't get shut out as often as this team does without being concerned with what may lie ahead.

I dunno if anyone has mentioned this anywhere, but that's now 3 straight Sundays the Reds have failed to score

Sunday is the most depressing day of the week here in Reds Country. :(

We miss Rolen.... PERIOD!

And thanks Cubs for winning that series with the Cards, and you almost swept them. ;)

The last time they scored on a Sunday was July 4th when they scored 14 against the Cubs. Apparently they used up all their Sunday scoring in one week.
