I wish Dunn would've done this one time when he was with the Reds. Go have a chat with Marty

I miss Dunn, but I enjoy winning more. That's not to say that it was Dunn's fault. I'd like to see what he could do in the middle of Phillips, Votto and Rolen (if the defensive positions could be worked out). But if the team had to be rebooted to get to this point, that's fine with me.

Dunn said that he could care less if he gets in trouble because of it, easy to say when you will most likely be traded within 5 days.

I don't know I think I would have had a problem if Votto, Phillips, Rolen, etc. would have talked on air during a game they aren't playing.

If Dunn wanted to see Ucher who he calls a friend then do so before the game or after the game. I don't know to me this seems inappropriate.

It's just a game.

Tom Browning and Wrigley come to mind. Loved that also.

They interview plays from the dugout all the time during games... And manager's in between innings. Not a real big deal, and I'm sure his teammates that were in the game weren't looking around for Dunn to make sure he was rooting them on. I'd say they didn't even know he was gone.

Tell that to Griffey Junior and his recliner.

Nobody chats with Marty. He talks, you listen. Not a lot of chatting going on.

The next time he says "I was here before you and I'll be here after you," I' wish someone would remind him that the Reds were here before him and they'll still be after him.

And better off.

Might've been a good idea to let Riggleman know he was going but I don't have a problem with it. I love the big guy; he gets that baseball is a game and doesn't take himself too seriously.

I think its a kind gesture on Dunn's part and have no problem with it.

But this is a situation where you "manage up" and make sure you don't make your manager look bad. The facts that Riggleman didn't know and that the Nationals stink make it all a little less happy and funny. All he had to do was say "Skip, I want to visit Ueck in the booth, we're old friends, and I'll be right back. Is that cool with you?". But that Riggleman had to find out from a reporter and made him look a little bad probably wasn't great.
