He may be sent down for Dickerson, instead of Stubbs. Just sayin'........:eek:

I would send Gomes or Bruce down. Probably Gomes. He can't do squat. At least Bruce plays good D.

I don't understand all the love for Dickerson. All he's ever done is beat up AAA pitching. He's no better than anybody we already have in the outfield. If you want to send Bruce down for a reality check like they did with Kearns (and maybe teach him to bunt), fine, but Dickerson is just as inconsistent and he always ends up getting hurt.

Last year in 97 games, Dickerson hit .275 with a .370 OBP.

This year:
Gomes: .270 BA, .321 OBP
Stubbs: .228 BA, .296 OBP
Bruce: .255 BA, .323 OBP

Bruce seems like a better fielding, less power hitting, Adam Dunn. He pulls everything and K's a ton.
