I think it's probably more the fact that their bullpen sucks and their closer blew another game. That better worry them at this point in the season. There aren't a lot of moves to be made now to improve your bullpen.

Franklin didn't do well that game, but that was only his second blown save of the year. When you say Franklin "blew another game," you make it sound like he's blowing saves left and right, he's not.

We scored a few runs off the best pitcher in baseball this year, came back in the ninth and scored two runs. It sucked to lose that game but it wasn't a bad one! I think most Cardinals fans expected to lose vs Johnson. I thought it was a good game for the Cardinals, especially for the start Westbrook had.


Hopefully the Cardinals game today is canceled. As of this moment (four hours past start time) it is still in a delay. If it needs to be replayed most likely Suppan won't even be in the rotation by then, so losing his spot int he rotation today would be a plus for the Cards.
