In case anyone is interested:

*And this from the Reds: Major League Baseball today made a scoring change in the bottom of the second inning of Tue's 7-6 loss at Pit...the hit by Lastings Milledge originally ruled a double has been changed to an error on Reds 3B Scott Rolen...that scoring change adjusts
the number of earned runs charged to Reds pitchers from 6er to 0er.

That change lowered Mike Leake's ERA from 3.86 to 3.43 entering tonight's start.

Not that it matters one way or the other, but the staff ERA for August dropped to 1.60.

Who do you want throwing to first base from third? Rolen or Francisco?

Did you see Juan's throw last night?

I rest my case.

At Wrigley Field?

Give me Francisco.

The look of horror on the faces of cubs fans as the ball comes flying into the first base stands is priceless.

Its worth a couple of runs to see that. :D

I was hoping they would change the scoring of that play, surprised it took them this long, but in the end they got it right.

It was a tough chance, but the kind Rolen makes all the time. There had been a one hour rain delay and the ground was wet. I recall Rolen thought the ball would come up but it didn't. I was surprised Rolen didn't make the play. I wouldn't have been surprised if say David Wright hadn't.

Normally the official score keeper has 24 hours to make changes, in this case MLB stepped in and made the change. Someone had to ask it to be reviewed right? If so my money is on Rolen
