The Mets have some serious problems.

I went to Citi Field last month to see the Reds, and pretty much ever since then, they have completely fallen off the map.

Sure wish you would have gone to the Cardinals series. You would have a better influence than me. I live in Texas. I have been to 4 games in Cincy between the Cards and the Reds since 05. The Reds have lost every game.

Hey, this could open the chance to trade Cordero to them in the offseason. They'll need a closer once K-Rod gets the axe. :p:

They always seem to win when I see them on the road, but not so at home.

I was at the game last Tuesday :(

I go to about 3/4 games a year at GABP, and they haven't won a game I've seen in person since 2005.

Same here. They usually win when I go to Minute Maid. I am 0-for-GABP.

Get a decent number of Reds fans down there for the games?

Usually yes. Even in the lean years a lot of Reds' fans show up because it is so far from Cincinnati (and really every other city that the Reds play in) that people just go because it is their only chance to see the team live. They don't turn out in Cubs or Braves numbers, but you will see a number of people sporting Reds' gear.

Are the Mets the team free agents go to to die? I'm struggling to think of a free agent who went to the Mets and had a nice career.
