Since the signing of Edmonds ive seen a lot of post from people saying that they cant believe that they are cheering for him. I was wondering if thier is anyone out thier that even if they were wearing a Reds uniform, you could not cheer for and why. For me its Arod. He is a phenominal talent but he used roids for no other purpose than to bolster his stats. Just rubs me the wrong way.

Barry Bonds. No way, no how, never. My most hated player ever.

I would cheer for Ted Bundy if he helped the Reds win.

I would root for anybody that played for the Reds, unless he was intenionally trying to sabotage the team.

I said I could never cheer for T.O and he is a Bengal now-go figure, so is Cedric Benson-a rival from the other side of town here. I could root for anyone who could help the Reds.
I hope Jim loses the title "Red Killer" though. I was starting to wonder last week if he would always be a Red Killer.

I could never root for Tony Larussa if he became Reds manager. He's a tool, plain and simple.

I was thinking about saying that, but if he was managing the Reds I could not root against him.

Sammy Sosa for numerous reasons. Pedro Martinez for knocking down poor old Don Zimmer.

You put on that uniform, and make the team better, than you are A-OK with me.

In this era of free agency, anything can happen.

I was going to say Barry Bonds ... but then I saw your post. I'm going to have to go with your attitude. With the game on the line, and maybe a playoff spot hanging in the balance, I'd pull for pretty much anyone in a Reds uniform. I might not buy their jersey or seek their autograph, but I'd be cheering for them to come through with a clutch hit for sure!

Its not baseball related but I could never bring myself to cheer for the Detroit Red Wings.

I dunno if there's anyone in baseball like that for me. Barry Bonds doesn't really count since he's retired. In the NHL it would be Sean Avery or that enforcer on the Red Wings whose name I can't remember ATM. In the NFL it would be Favre. I don't follow the NBA so I don't have anyone for that sport...

Zambrano is a grade-A feminine hygiene product but he's been a pain in the Cubs' rear for a couple years now, especially with his contract, so it's hard to dislike him too much. Purely as a player I dislike Ryan Dempster because of his stupid glove twitch before every pitch.

It could never get worse than Edmonds for me, so I am no longer afraid of anyone coming to the Reds.

/agree.... I would never cheer for Pujols.

Mostly I don't like that everytime he sneezes ESPN has to say how good he is. Kinda like how they do with Ohio State or the Yankees. Or Brett Favre. Just too much publicity.

The majority of the Cubs especially Zambrano, Chipper Jones, Clemens, many of the Phillies (because of their fans) The Yankees, Bonds, Manny, and now (and I don't mean to stir things up but this is how I feel) Phillips and Cueto.

Adam Dunn, I was so glad when the Reds traded him. The most frustrating player ever.

Isn't your angst sort of misguided here? You don't root for Pujols because of media coverage? How exactly is that Pujols fault?
