No surprise that Mike Trout was named MVP.

Not to surprising that no Dragons were on the team. Thought Henry Rodriguez might have an outside chance.

Is Mike the son of former pitcher Steve Trout? (and thereby Dizzy Trout's grandson)

one more year and we start talking about Yorman on the big squad.....he is that good....I dont see this cat spending to much time running trough the system.....I see him taking the Dave Sappelt path and maybe even a little quicker....

I may be one of the biggest Yorman fans around, but at his age you can not rush him at all. I would think he would spend the entire year at Dayton next year. With health, growing, getting stronger can not see him being on the big league squad for another 3 years.

Mike Trout had an incredible year. He was promoted to the Florida State League as an 18 year old and did quite well there as well.

Right.... which would still put his MLB debut on target for 20 years old. He won't move as fast as suggested because despite being as good as I think he is, he just turned 18 ten days ago.
