Is there a limit? Currently the Reds have Lincoln and Arredondo on the 60-day DL. For some reason I thought you could only have two on the 60-day DL. If there is a limit to number of 60-day DL, would the Reds DFA Russ Springer/Edmonds/Burton to open a spot on the 40 man roster for Balentien or Todd Frazier? Seems like with Nix hurting and Edmonds on the DL the Reds could use another outfielder. I suppose they could DL Nix and call up Francisco to play LF/3B.

I don't believe there is a limit. I'm almost sure of it.

No limit. You simply need to have 40 players on the 40 man roster is order to move someone to the 60 day DL.

If a player is placed there after August 1st, he is done for the year.
