Every night feels like Hal King's home run.

It's like the Baseball Gods gave the Reds account to the one who handles the Tampa Bay Rays.

In the history of baseball, throwing more than 100 mph has gone from "Heard about a guy who did it once" to "Did you hear that a guy did it last night?" to "He uses it to set up his slider."

Too soon for Dusty Baker as manager of the year?

Too late to vote Aroldis Chapman to the All-Star team?

I hear that Rob Dibble will be replaced in the booth by Nyger Morgan.

I hear Cardinals taste like chicken.

The wings are small, but good with the right sauce.

Your first thought sums up the season very well.

Great stuff. I was at the Hal King homer game with my dad and you are exactly right. The stadium was giddy that night just like it appears to be lately.

Excellent as usual, Cubbie.

The Hal King and 100 MPH lines are 2 of your all time greatest.

I'm thinking the attendance at that Hal King game was like 300,000 :)

Nothing like the crowd that was at Woodstock '69, which is already in the millions and grows at a steady pace each year, as boomers regain their "lost" memories.

Fourth one would be nice, seeing how it usually has a wagon that it tows.

This.

I remain in disbelief every single day about what this team is doing. But I'm loving it.
