The Reds activated SS Orlando Cabrera today from the 15-day disabled list and recalled LHP Matt Maloney and RHP Jordan Smith from Triple-A Louisville.

Ugg, what did Balentine do to be disreguarded like this? We could use another bat and another OF and he still isn't called up....

Can AAA even man a team for their playoffs?

All good moves. I hope OCab gets the day off tomorrow or Sunday, but I like him in the lineup. More arms is always good.

I hope he doesnt get 100% playing time like before. Really really didnt miss his annoying ABs.

Basically all of AA is now in AAA for the playoffs.

Team has been killin' it since King Janish got to play everyday, hope this doesn't have a negative effect.

Balentine I believe is now on the AAA DL, not only was he hurt by not being on the 40 man the injury pretty much blew any chance he had at being called up.

So you want injured guys playing and healthy guys on the DL...sounds about right.

No, Balentine just go DL'ed yesterday, so when Bruce got hurt he wasn't on the DL. So call up Frazier who can play LF and probably much better then Gomes.

Frazier is not on the 40 man roster. Hard to make those moves without cutting players at this time.

This team is set for September now.

Time to pour it on, and get everyone healthy and get the best 25 men ready for October.
