The matchups are as follows:

Harang (6-7, 4.92 ERA)vs Jimenez (17-6, 2.69 ERA)
Cueto (12-4, 3.41 ERA) vs Chacin (7-9, 3.69 ERA)
Arroyo (14-9, 3.84 ERA) vs Cook (5-8, 5.21 ERA)
Wood (5-2, 3.19 ERA) vs TBA (either Hammel or De La Rosa)

Now, living here in Denver, I follow/listen to the local talk etc. I'm of the mind that the Reds take 3 of 4, although a split is ok too. Personally, I'm glad to see Harang matched up w/ Ubaldo, as it's a tough game as is and might as well get the worst of the 4 starters matched up w/ him.

With that said, anyone else going to the games? The wife and I are going to all 4 and are pretty excited to see the boys play in person!

I expect a split but I'll vote for 3 outta 4.

Hope you and your family enjoy the series.

I'm gona go ahead and assume the Reds lose tomorrow. I think we will win games 2 and 3 with Cueto and Arroyo. Game 4 could go either way. I vote for a split.

It's a shame we don't have someone better tomorrow facing Ubaldo. Would've liked to have seen Cueto or Arroyo face him.

Aaron Harang just might surprise all of us.

De La Rosa went today. Doubt he goes game 4.

I believe Hammel (sp?) is the scheduled 4th game starter.

One of those games were you expect the worst and end up getting something completely unexpected. Certainly Harang has to know he is up against it, I bet he has a quality start just to tease us.

I think it depends on Bruce being able to play.

With him....2-2 or 3-1

Without....2-2 or 1-3.

I feel much better about the Brewers dismantling the Cards.

Have a great time Felix...we're expecting a full post game report each night!

Spelled correctly, if you were still wondering.

I'll go with 2/4.

Game 1 is not an automatic loss. Jiminez had an awesome April & May. His ERA was 0.78 on 5/31/10.

Since then:
ip 103
hits 88
BB 46
K 100
ERA 4.19
whip 1.3

still pretty solid but not awesomely awesome like he was during the spring.

Things never seem to go well when we have these threads. But I'll say 2 of 4

I'm guessing the Reds take two out of four but I'll be thrilled if they can take the series.

I voted for 3-4. They'll respond well after a disappointing series like they always do - by playing well.

If the Reds are able to pull it out today, then we sweep, if not

3 outta 4 ain't bad

The Rockies are a machine every September.. I'm hoping we don't lose more than the Cardinals lose this weekend in Atlanta. It'll feel really good if we can manage to not lose any ground (hopefully we can gain ground) by next Monday

Thanks Blumj, wasn't sure and hadn't double checked.

I voted 3 of 4.. I'm at the game tomorrow Ed. 140 row 21. Best I could do short notice. But looking forward to it. Going early early to catch batting practice. Hit me up, would be good to see you. My number is still the same.

Will do. We got hooked up w/ tix for today and tomorrow, so can't pick them up until a few hours prior to game time. No idea on where they are, but I'll be there early for BP. Wife might have to work late, but will be there prior to first pitch.

I'll give you a call.

So I read that Cueto missed his flight from the DR 2 days ago and that he's not supposed to make his start today. Anyone know if this is still the case and if so, who is filling in?

Cueto arrived yesterday and is expected to make his start tonight.
