With the return of George Grande this Saturday, and the unusual combo of Chris & Cowboy on TV, which is your favorite Reds announcing duo on both the radio and TV sides?

Please vote for one TV and one Radio.

Chris Welsh is very underrated. I have not really thought much of him until he was not paired with George. He is actually not as bad at play-by-play as I thought he would be.

His insight really adds to the game and his odd one-liners always make me laugh out loud at least once a game.

The Reds really don't have a bad announcer in my mind. George Grande is almost unlistenable, but with just seven games with him this season instead of the 100 he used to work will just be like a blast from the past. I may actually enjoy his repetitive nature since he won't have long to be very repetitive.

Welsh/Cowboy last night on tv literally put me to sleep.

I'm a fan of Thom/Welsh on TV and Marty/Kelch on the radio.

In order:

1a) Thom/Jeff
1b) Thom/Chris
3) Marty/Thom
4) Marty/Jeff

It's Thom and Jeff on TV for me. Their humor ads alot to the broadcast.

I guess Marty and Jeff on Radio, but that's not really much of a duo since Jeff goes solo for so much of the game. For the innings when Jeff is solo, I'd prefer just about any other combination that doesn't involve Keels.

I guess Paul Keels isn't a choice?!?!

Probably tried to put his name in there but in the process of just saying his name he ended up typing Doug Glannville, and said forget it and gave up.

Anything without Thom or Grande

Time to hire Dibble to fit in somewhere. I know he put his foot in his mouth on the Strasburg deal, but I still love him.

I really like Kelsh. Who will do TV when Marty retires? Pretty sure THom will do radio

I like Thom and Chris. That old familiar sting.

I find Brantley nearly intolerable, especially on the radio. There's something about the way he talks that drives me batty.

Brantley doesn't bother me too much, but heck I live in Texas. I am from Ohio, but have acquired a Texas drawl over time. My aunt in Dayton tells me to be quiet and not speak. My accent drives her crazy. I guess its a hard thing to take up there in the Midwest.

I like Kelch and the Cowboy, personally.

Marty and Cowboy work great together, and are very entertaining to listen too.I know alot of ya'll hate on Brantley's Southern drawl though.

Waite Hoyt & Claude Sullivan wouldn't count, I guess?

I grew up with Grande and Marty, I wish they could work together for a few games.

I still miss Joe. :(

Not necessarily looking for "entertainment" from whoever the announcers are, I really appreciate the great professional insight of both Welch and Brantley. (However, they are both mediocre as play by play goes).

EeeeyaaH! Missed this at 1st glance! We date ourselves, but the old left hander and his stories was the only thing that even approached Waite Hoyt's yarns, being he played with/against some of the all time greatest!

I guess Paul Keels isn't a choice?!?!Dang it. I knew I would forget somebody.

I used to absolutely loathe Cowboy. Then he told Marty that Thom should stop painting his hair when Thom decided to color it jet black. Since then, I've loved him.

Marty is outstanding. Hearing him rip on Cubs fans was priceless.

Great poll question. I love Kelch, so I voted Marty/Kelch. If it weren't for Brantley's play-by-play I would have voted Marty/Jeff.

VERY rarely I have heard Marty/Chris on the radio. I think they were together very early last season in a game when there was no tv. I think that would be my favorite.

I have never liked Brantley's voice. Sometimes his "drawl" sounds a little too fake for me. I like accents and all, his just doesn't get this little doggie movin' along ....
