How are the pairings for the NLDS determined?

dick stockton and bob brenley is the best duo of those IMO.

Interesting that the NL gets the later start this year (1 series starts on Thurs). Originally, I was assuming the Reds would play games 1 and 2 of NLDS in the early afternoon, but now I'm not so sure. We might get a Friday night game 2 with the AL teams off.
