All is well. I'll start to sweat if it gets down to 3 games within the next week.

Call me when Cueto takes the mound for Game 1 of the playoffs.

I am not worried in the least......St Louis will shoot themselves in the foot if we do not take it from them....so one way or the other, we are in.

All this IS hilarious. We've seen lots of speculation where "If we play such-and-such-record then St.L has to go such-and-such" and they all look pretty good for the Reds, but statistically most scenarios and the most likely scenario has the Reds winning the div by about 4 games. Every time for the last month that it gets to 6, or heaven forbid 5, games everyone freaks out. Fun ride, though.

Not really.

I thoroughly expect Very Good Bronson to show up tonight, and don't think the Cardinals are going to sweep San Diego.

I'm very intrigued to see Edmonds in LF tonight. I believe this will be his only his second game there since 1994.

That's my sweating point too. If it reaches three games anytime soon, I'll definitely be concerned.

Back up to 6.5 and headed towards 7 if the lead holds.

It appears the sky is not falling.

It's not? Thank goodness.

All those message board posts about how the Reds were about to blow the division had me worried there for a minute.

Not even remotely concerned.

Why worry? In my mind this year is gravey. The Reds were, I thought, at least one more year away. They will lock up the central soon and be in the playoffs. What they do then? I'm not so sure, but they will win the division.

I'm not afraid, but I would certaintly like to see the team play better. These last 19 days have been pretty brutal.

Reds starters have not allowed more than three earned runs in their last 11 starts.

With St. Louis losing today, it makes it a whole lot easier..Not worried..

I'm only worried about our rotation in the playoffs and who we face. Give me the 2nd best record and I'll be happy.

I think the bigger question is, will Houston catch St. Louis?
