Pretty fun read. And just thinking about personal changes--as many on t he ORG are doing--is fun as well.

Since the Reds' last postseason appearance I've played in a ska band, graduated high school, earned a BS in education, taught high school briefly, worked at Borders, earned a master's degree. I wrote a bad novel, quit smoking, got married, adjuncted at dayton area universities and community colleges, moved to Oklahoma to work on a PhD, and got 5 short stories published.

In that time, I went to only 23 Reds games, give or take a few (I only lived in Dayton for a few years of this time) around 20 Dayton Dragons games, 4 Toledo Mudhens games, and 2 Cleveland Indians Games.

I was going to also list all of the bands I've seen live in that time, but it's a daunting list..so I decided against it.

What about you?

Great season for the Reds and many of us have enjoyed it and have almost been shamed for doing so, because we know how far this team has come - unfortunately for some on this board - this season isn't a whole lot different than some of the miserable ones mentioned on Mo/ blog post. And that is sad.

I'll tell you what I've done for 15 years that ends in 2010: watched football only in October.

Gone through elementary, middle and high school, gotten my licence, vehicle and a job.

Suffered through many Reds games of frustration and curse words.

Seen my Colts win a Super Bowl and lose one. Seen Ohio State win a national championship and lose back to back.

Moved from South Carolina to Indiana then here to Oklahoma.

I am SO ready to see us clinch this thing so I can go bezerk! I've NEVER been through this...I am ready to get it on!!!

I died. Came back as a dog. Got run over by a truck and died again. Came back as a bird. Got eaten by the cat. Came back as a snake and I'm currently managing the St. Louis Cardinals.

I was on the grounds crew the last time the Reds were in the playoffs. Damn, that was a long time ago.

I was a disc jockey in 1995, now a high school coach and teacher
Was 30 then, 45 now
Still single, still run 10 miles a day
In 1995 I had hair, now smoothly shaved
Liked the 1995 team, love this team
Bet we don't go 15 years before the next playoff visit
