Jay Bruce becomes only the 5th player in Major League history to hit a walk-off homer to clinch a postseason berth, as reported on Sportscenter.

He joins Steve Finley (2004), Alfonso Soriano (1999), Hank Aaron (1957) and Bobby Thompson (1954) to accomplish the feat.

And he's all of 23 years old.

He's going to be a MONSTER.

I heard Jim Day say this over the air, I wonder if FSN got it from here.

Make that 1951 for Bobby Thompson's walk-off.

Thanks. I was doing it from memory and after I posted that, I thought '54 didn't sound right.

It was on SportsCenter. Thats why he couldn't confirm, someone just saw it on SC and told him.

Probably the most historic game I've been to since Hank Aaron's 714th on Opening Day 1974. It was electric down there
