What dates would we host if:

a) were the #2 seed? I thought they said last night the first game would be Thursday in Cincy. When would the next home game be?

b) were the #3 seed?

I have a friend who won the right to buy tickets, so Im trying to figure out when the home games would be.

Thanks.

Blue highlights are #2 seed. Green highlights are #3 seed, unless the Reds play PHI, in which case the home game times are one row above the green rows.

If the Reds are a 2 seed game 1 would either be Wednesday or Thursday (probably Thursday since the Phillies have the choice and would probably start Wednesday to get an extra day off). Game 2 would be on Friday.

If the Reds are a 3 seed the first 2 games would be on the road. Game 3 should then be home on Sunday with game 4 at home on Monday. I have mentioned on another thread that Sunday is also a Bengals home game so it could be quite a busy Sunday in that area if the Reds are a 3 seed.

Way too early to say. It's not only dependant on seeding but on who the Wildcard team is. All we know right now is that Philly is going to be the #1 seed. The WC could come from the NL West or East

Philly already chose the Wednesday start.

Philly already chose the Wednesday start.

So that means the Reds will either have home games Thursday and Friday if a number 2 seed or Sunday and Monday if a number 3 seed

Correct.

Or Wednesday and Friday if they are the 3 seed and the wildcard comes from the east.

If they are a number 3 seed they will be on the road to start. If they are a 3 seed and the wild card comes from the east they would play at Philadelphia on Wednesday and Friday

High likely-hood of us being afternoon games if we do not play Philadelphia, in which case I cannot attend the games because I have to work and cannot get out of work. So in terms of my experience and the money I have invested, I hope we play Philly. Why not.
