I ask because the Reds may play the Phillies and I have a meeting on Wednesday. Anybody have any insight to what time the Reds will play?

They're already on the Time Warner Cable guide on TBS up to a week ahead. The Wed. NL games is at 2 I believe.

On directv, NL games are listed at 1:30 and 5:00 and we know that's not the case as only one NL series starts that day.

From TBS's website:

Wednesday:
1:30 Game 1 (Guess would be Reds at Phillies)
5:00 Game 2 (Guess would be Rangers at Rays)
8:30 Game 3 (Guess would be Yankees at Twins)

Thursday:
2:30 Game 1 (Guess would be Rangers at Rays)
6:00 Game 2 (Guess would be Yankees at Twins)
9:30 Game 3 (Guess would be Braves at Giants)

Friday:
6:30 Game 1 (Guess would be Reds at Phillies)
10:00 Game 2 (Guess would be Braves at Giants)

Saturday:
5:00 Game 1 (Guess would be Twins at Yankees)
8:30 Game 2 (Guess would be Rays at Rangers)

Sunday only has three games (3:30, 7:00, 10:30), but I doubt these are finalized, as their can be up to four, and none of the teams would play on the west coast, making a 10:30 game a bad time.

Ugh. 1:30? What are we supposed to do? Take off work? I hope these times are wrong.

Yes, I'll be taking off work early that day.

Baseball is meant to be played in the day. Radio time man!

In the sundeck someone said Marty mentioned a 4:00 start time. Don't know how accurate that is though.

I agree, it should be during the day. And I do like listening to them on the radio. But, I'd love to be able to watch the 1st game.

If the game is at 4 (3:00 central), I will be getting into the office at 6:00 in order to leave at 2:00. If the game is around noon, I have no idea what I'm going to do. Get in at 4:00?

My GPA is taking a hit on Wednesday either way. I'm going to have to skip two classes. Not good, but oh well.

According to the schedule, 4:00 p.m. is impossible, no?

Yes it won't be 4. According to Fay's blog Marty said the first game would be 4, game 2 would be Friday at 8 and Sunday would be 4. I don't know where he got those times because that does not all match the time TBS is broadcasting games this week.

Going forward, I'd ask that all times listed by EST, so that those NOT in Cincy can figure out what time it is for them. :)

The Sunday gametime is the one I really want/need to find out about....Bengals play at home at 1:00 that day...does anyone in the area know if it would even be feasible for both venues to host events simultaneously?

I might be the only one frustrated by this, but I really would love to get a heads up on the Sunday start time. I understand they may wait until they find out if there will be a game 4 in either AL series, but that potentially means waiting until late night Saturday to determine our start time Sunday which seems silly to say the least. My guess is that we are going to get that early evening time slot...anyone in Cincy care to do some digging?

I keep looking but so far no one is saying anything about Sunday. I have tickets for both the Reds and Bengals games on Sunday so it would nice to know. A night game would work best with both these events being on Sunday. If the Reds don't get a night game parking is going to a big issue on Sunday. But I have a feeling if the Yankees series is still going they will get the night game and the Reds probably late afternoon.

The first two games are perfect start times for me. I figured I'd have to wait around until 8:30 at night or later for the start and couldn't stay up but for three or four innings. This is great. Unusual, but great!
