An interesting, though probably meaningless stat:

the visiting teams finished 11-4 in the division series' this season. The Reds, unfortunately, accounted for two of those losses.

It's definitely always nice to start off the playoffs at home (more revenue too), but it sure didn't mean much this year so far.

Historically it hasn't in the division series. Teams with home advantage are barely over .500 since the format began in 1995.
