I doubt the Royals would trade for Cordero. They are not wanting to add $$$

The Angels need a Closer. That is where the FO needs to be looking to unload that contract...

They have a minor league catcher that is well traveled, nearly 28 years old, has spent time in both minors and majors, named Bobby Wilson. I know we have Mesoraco and Grandal, but he could fill Corky's spot in a few years of third catcher residing in the minor leagues. Hehehe.

They have a 21, soon to be 22 year old, 2B named Alexi Amarista who has put up solid numbers, but lacks power. He's in triple A already.

23 year old OFer named Peter Bourjos, who hit .313, 13 HR's, 27 SB's in triple A last year.

26 year old reliever Rich Thompson. Has dominated the minors including Triple A, but everytime he goes to the majors, struggles a bit. Had a decent stint in the majors for the first time last year.

poop. I didn't have an answer for the actual question, but when I played madlibs as a kid I would often use poop as my word to fill in the blank.

The Royals want cheap, young prospects. Cordero is completely the opposite of that and Soria is the complete opposite of Cordero. . . for now in terms of money.

The Reds obviously have enough to trade for Greinke, but I don't see how Cordero could be in that trade.
