I actually think its awesome. I read on bottom line on ESPN that the Yankees & Rangers were told that they were "out" of the running on Monday Night...

Has to ager Yankees Brass... Look for Hal Steinbrenner to same something negative about Cliff Lee tommorow in a statement.

The Yankees are screwed, especially if Pettitte retires.

exactly, funny the yankees didnt get him but would rather him go there then be in the NL. texas was ideal, and reportedly offered him the most

Nah,they will go and buy someone else. If not, they will just buy all the teams and declare themselves winner.

Ugh, the Phillies could become the first team to ever throw back-to-back no hitters. I'm just glad we aren't in the East.

Fixed that for you. Dag, Phils fans were arrogant as it was.

You're right, Phillie Fan probably thinks they will be the first team to go 162-0, never surrendering a run the whole season.

Dang, lethal rotation. You can pretty much write them in for a playoff spot.

I will say this. I dislike the Braves very much so I am glad the Phillies will probably keep them out of the playoffs... The Phillies should beat their NL East rivals so bad, the Wild Card will not even come out of that Division.

Buh Bye Atlanta from the Post Season...

Injuries happen to pitchers. It can happen to the Phillies, too.
