2010 - 145 games on FS Ohio
2009 - 145 games on FS Ohio
2008 - 145 games on FS Ohio
2007 - 145 games on FS Ohio
2006 - 100 games on FS Ohio

145 games + 11 on exclusive national TV = at least 156 (out of 162) games on TV this season

Great research and information. I heard Thom Brennaman say on Reds Hot Stove this past Tuesday that Fox had tentavely scheduled the Reds for 9 national Saturday afternoon games and coming off last season's success its great to see them getting so much national exposure.

Not betting on it but hoping for it - plus they'll be able to trot out the footage of the fight to hype the rivalry and get more people to tune in who just want to see another brawl.

They're probably betting on Pujols and Votta having great seasons and going after the Triple Crown again.

For those of us outside of the Cincinnati area it is nice to be able to see a game on TV once in a while.

What about other games where they play the Cubs on WGN or the Braves on TBS?

Those are Nationally televised games, aren't they?

Nice to see what winning does for a team.

True, but in this instance Fox and ESPN are the next level up. It's like being on the old Game Of The Week - the main focus of the national media.

Braves don't play on TBS anymore, btw. TBS just has one Sunday game during the regular season.

Hopefully, these broadcasts will prompt the casual fan to purchase Reds jersey's etc. and in turn generate more income to the team.

Directv MLB Package. Trust me, it's worth the $150 a year for us, majority of the Reds games, plus every other MLB team, our announcers and not the opposing team's, etc. :)

I purchased the mlb.tv package this past season and it was also well worth the money ($100 for a year). Tons of games and the system worked great on our highspeed internet connection. The online deal is that the home teams' announcers call the game, but I didn't mind that at all: learned some things about the various other teams and it was interesting to get the "outsider" perceptions of the Reds. It was also cool to listen to Vin Scully call the games with the Dodgers during the west coast swing.
