Don't have the link, but it's on the Enquirer front page. He was taken from the owners meetings in Arizona to an area hospital after falling ill.

The quick blurb said he was suffering dizziness and an irregular heartbeat.

More to come I'm sure.

Robby seems OK. He says he was "not dehydrated, but just a little bit dry."

Thank God.

If I had to chose my all time favorite Cincinnati Red I'd have to go with Frank Robinson. Robby was a living breathing definition of a "Five Tool Player".

My grandpa had season tickets at Crosley (and later Riverfront) and Robby would always talk to us. Grandpa used to call him 'Robby' like they were good buddies or something. To this day, some of my most vivid memories are of him talking directly to me when I was about 7 or 8 and always saying, "Hey kid, good to see you again!" and "Keep your glove ready, I might hit one down here for ya." One day he signed a warmup ball for me and chatted with Grandpa so long I thought they were buddies. I couldn't believe they traded him...we were crushed. In the '70 Series, I had to root for him silently because Grandpa wouldn't allow openly rooting for the opponent...I think he rooted for him too, but he'd never let on. Frank Robinson is my original favorite ballplayer and it's never any better than the first time. Glad to hear he's alright.

I'm glad he was eventually welcomed back into the Reds organization.

Me too.

Great story, Scorpie, BTW.
