Not the most in-depth article, but to have the Reds' pitchers mentioned with the Phillies and Giants is eye-opening.

With the 6 contenders- Arroyo, Cueto, Volquez, Bailey, Leake and Wood--- you can figure that:
1 of them will have a career year. Top ten Cy Young.
2 will be good, solid starters, with Arroyo probably in this group
2 will be mediocre/inconsistent with mixed results
1 will fall off the face of the earth due to injury or inefectiveness
Also, Lecure and/or Maloney will get a few starts

That should put the Reds as one of the better starting pitching staffs.

1-5 collectively we have great talent. Would like to see them all step it up a notch, some just in their pitching itself, some more mentally. I think we see great things from this staff this year, and maybe even an ace surface.
