I've heard it was either a hamstring or his pitching hand...hard to say what it is. I'm sure more info will be out soon.

St Louis paper says leg on Carpenter, but no details. Nothing on Boggs' injury at all other than he "bipassed the dugout and went straight to the clubhouse"

Just a strained hamstring. 10-15 days.

How is he going to explain this to his son?

Minor hamstring injury. But sometimes injured hammies can linger.

Ummm...I hurt my hammy. I'm going to miss a couple of weeks. The end.

Much easier than explaining the brawl. :) Carp's fine. They expect him to miss one start, MAYBE two, but that's doubtful. Said today he already feels better and just took himself out for procaution since it was just his first start of the spring.

Will prob come out next week saying it is a lingering injury from being so brutally attacked by the gang of hostile ballplayers. Poor guy, I hope he makes it.

Well, since you are so obviously rooting for him (yes, I know you were sarcastic, as am I), you will be happy to know he threw a side session today and said he would be fine. Good news, right?! ;)

It doesn't matter. It's all over for us now. They have "Fat Elvis."

Yeah, I heard he had to explain to his kid that he was going to be alright.

Looks like Carp is missing his turn in the ST rotation this time around.

That was always to be the case when he first felt the twinge last week. He threw another side session today and reported no pain and has been scheduled to start on Friday.
