If Mace Thurman doesn't make it, I will only vote for him one more time.

This is the second-to-last ballot. The turnout was pretty low on the last one, so I hope it picks up for these last two. I'm having a lot of trouble deciding who I want for this vote, so I'm going to wait around and see what people have to say about these guys. At the moment, I'm leaning toward Mugarian because I like his upside.

That.

And this: When we decided to expand from 40 to 50, who would have anticipated that the final 10 would all be pitchers? Of course, that's not a done deal, but at any rate, we've elected 10 pitchers in a row. I'm sure there's a commentary there, somewhere.

Going with Brian Pearl. When he was healthy, I loved what I saw. At this point in the rankings, I am willing to take my chances on a guy with his arm coming off an injury.

After thinking about it some more, I'm okay with Pearl here, too.

I went with Fellhauer who was the Redszone #21 pick last year but disappointed to say the least.

I thought I had a pretty good grasp on these guys, but who's Oliver Florentino?

lots and lots of pitchers going. I wonder how much that has to do w/ the Reds having a solid amount of pitching depth, and how much of that has to do w/ redzoners valueing a pitching prospect more than a hitting prospect.

I had a typo. It's actually Olivel Florentino. He's an offensive-oriented, 17-year-old shortstop who is expected to make his debut in the DSL this year. He signed for $250,000 back in August, which was the Reds' biggest international signing last year outside of Chapman. For reference, Ronald Torreyes signed for $40,000. Last I heard, Florentino was learning to switch-hit. Voting for him now would basically be the equivalent of voting for Humberto Valor last year.
