You can email the Bats' announcers during the game at batsradio@sportsradio790.com. I believe that is right.

Yonder with a two-out walk that fails to materialize into a run.

Thomas with a double to start the proceedings here in the second. Alonso cut the ball off in the gap and made a nice throw according to the announcer. Klinker gets a strike out looking for the first out. Negron makes a diving grab of a sinking liner headed for the second out. Sizemore ropes a ball to the alley and it is 2 zip Mudhens. Grounder to second limits the damage.

Klinker gives up a leadoff single in the top of the third. A GIDP erases the runner and the Mudhens get nothing else. Negron walks and steals second. Sappelt grounds hard into the hole. The shortstop tries to get the runner at third and throws the ball away. Negron scores and Sappelt ends up as the tying run at second with nobody out. Scoring is a single and an error.
Cozart flies to warning track in right-center. Sappelt tags and moves to third. Alonso lines hard to short, Sappelt holding at third. Down goes Frazier! on strikes. 2-1 Toledo.

I'm in the ballpark... & it's a little chilly. Overall the team looks a little green (no pun intended). Don't know if it's nerves w/the full house (as usual here in Dayton) but the errors r piling up. Its early, but Bowling Green looks more polished so far & hitting the ball very well...

Really think his base running get overlooked, but I can see why when he has played with Hamilton in Billings.

That's more like it.

Klinker pitched a bit better than I expected. Fastballs around 93-94 and offspeed stuff around 71-72. They seemed to be sitting on his fastball some and I think Mes called for it too predictably.

This K/BB ratio last night was excellent for him and I consider above avearge for Klinker. He ended up with 6K's and 1 BB. If you would have told me this would be his line score in his first outing this year, I'd have taken it in a heartbeat.

Does he have a shot at the MLB rotation next year (with Volquez and Homer gone, IMO)?

1. Wood
2. Cueto
3. Arroyo
4. Chapman
5. Klinker?

Certainly not avoiding the question, but right now I would say that I don't believe Klinker is ready to be a starting MLB pitcher. I think he would struggle with that right now. This year will be a huge step for him. He needs to demonstrate consistency and reliability at this level to build confidence in himself. From there you would determine if he is ready to be in the ML. Secondly, I have no idea what the Reds rotation situation will look like next year.
I said it earlier, I'm a big fan of Klinker. When the Bats play in Norfolk in May, I've already told my wife I'll make the drive up for his start. Hopefully he'll get a start in Durham as well.

From the DDN:

The loss did include the first Midwest League home run by center fielder Yorman Rodriguez, a solo shot in the first inning that gave the Dragons their first lead of the young season. Rodriguez, given a reported $2.5 million to sign with the Reds out of Venezuela when he was 16, also stole a base.

Hes on his way, DeShields said. He was going through some personal issues in spring training, but hes getting back to his old self.
