In Daryl Thompson's absence, Lee Tabor will get the start for Carolina tonight. Looks like a long night for the bullpen.

That's only fair. It was a long day for DT.

I'm hearing a rumor of Jordan Smith going to the DL. Dunno if there's any truth to it though.

The transactions involving pitchers over the next 24 hours are going to be interesting. Injuries at the top. Could see the domino effect. They have tried to avoid doing that this year.

Very, very true. Who gets sent down for Leake, DT or Fisher?

Does Bailey go on D.L.? Does LeCure go on D.L.? Fisher and Thompson both unavailable for next few days anyway. Both could go down. Is Fisher goes down, he deserves a little extra "termination pay" for the effort Wednesday.

He's going back to Cincy tomorrow I believe. I heard he might go on the DL but I don't know if the person who said knew anything about it or not

Yorman ejected today in the middle of an at-bat. Sierra came in to hit with a 1-2 count.

72, is it safe to say Yorman struggles with borderline calls that go against him? The last thing you want to do is get a reputation with the umpires....

Not a short fuse issue. More of an all-the-time attitude issue. Umpires are not going to put up with it when it gets directed towards them.

After strike two was called, he would not get back in the batters box. Umpire ordered him to get back in the box. I thought the ump would call strike three because he would not get back in there. Eventually he got back in the box and took the next pitch for a ball and then said something else to the ump and he tossed him.

RHP Chris Mobley (Louisville) acquired in trade with Texas in exchange for cash considerations

I don't know the guy, but from looking at his stats it seems like he's been a successful closer for the Fish.
