A wild one in Dayton. The Dragons rallied to take a 10-5 lead going into the ninth, but Chad "Sharky" Rogers had a rare rough outing and Beloit scored six to go up 11-10.

Everybody in the Dayton lineup has a hit, and five guys have more than one--Bowe, Hamilton (3), Vidal (3), Poulk and Barnhart. Bottom of the ninth now.

Hunt drove in two in the seventh to put Bakersfield up 4-2, which is where it stands after eight. Hunt has 32 RBIs in 31 games.

Kudos to Tabor. Didn't give up a hit after the 1st inning. If you look back at the numbers, he has been much better as a starter. Looks to me like Webb and Tabor should have been swapped out for each other a long time ago

Danny Dorn/Chris Heisey platoon in LF wouldn't kill me...

just sayin'.

I really don't understand why Dorn doesn't get a shot at the MLB level. It seems like he has hit well at every level. For power too for the most part. The Reds should give him a shot. Especially since LF has become an offensive black hole. I hope he gets a shot somewhere though. He deserves it.

All Danny needs is for someone to set up a 40-yard dash between him and Yonder. ;)

Those two had better form a two-man relay. 40 yards for either may be asking too much.

But it might kill the Reds.

Heisey is horrible vs. LH pitching. Lifetime OPS below .600.

If we are going to do a platoon, Gomes is the guy vs. LH pitching.

This. I've heard all about the fact that he's not great defensively...but the kid can HIT. Well. And with POP.
