Brent Clevlen has been moved from Triple-A Louisville to Double-A Carolina.

Update: Clevlen has been released. I assume they told him he was going down to Double-A and he refused it.

Should have been Negron down. Clevlen has been on a tear.

Mesoraco got a HR in the 3rd.

4-3 Bats

Clevlen's last 10 games:

.290/.371/.581 - .952

I guess he figures he'll get picked by someone. Too bad he won't be helping Carolina.

Mesoraco just CRUSHED a triple off the wall to drive in 2 runs for the bats (Bats up 6-4). Stand up triple for our catcher, something Ramon could only dream about these days :D

Mes is a double away from the cycle by the way.

Mesoraco knocks in 2 in the 6th.

He and Hermida with 3 hits apiece.

6-4 Bats

Mesoraco just hit a 2-run triple. He's 3-for-4 with a HR (#8), triple, and 3 RBI. Needs a double for the cycle.

Hey, did Mes just hit a triple? :D

Methinks the young man is ready for the bigs

Mesoraco is decimating AAA as a 22 year old catcher. Let that sink in.

Cozart goes 3-6, Reds still stuck with Paul Janish.

This is getting silly. The Reds are trying to win a division with the best SS, C, and possibly, LF in the system playing for the AAA team.

They have their reasons. I don't agree with them but nothing we can do.

Yeah but you think they should all be playing in Carolina.:D:D:D

I wonder if that's what he wanted. I really liked him as minor league depth, and I would've thought the Reds did as well.

I would almost guarantee it was his choice. They made him go to extended and "work on things."

Meanwhile the big club is playing .500 ball and losing games 3-2.

Frustrating.

And the Bats lost 2 of their last 3 games 1-2 and 3-4.
