Drabek sent down. Will he pitch vs Cincy this weekend?

You just beat me to it. I'm very happy for Stewy. He's a really good guy.

Called up with a 4.39 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in AA, although his FIP is a much more flattering 3.67.

Still, he wasn't lighting the world on fire down there. It will be interesting to see if his stuff will play in the bigs.

Much wringing of hands when the Reds dealt him.

He's gonna start Thursday against Balitmore so we'll miss him.

Dusty was just saying how huge the gap is between AAA and the Majors these days -- much-bigger than it's ever been according to Dusty. He was being asked why the Reds aren't calling up players from Louisville who are mashing. His first answer (which received all the pub) was that "offense hasn't been our problem." However, he later added that "it's a very big jump from AAA to the Big Leagues -- the gap has never been larger."

I would love for a reporter to ask him the day before Stewart's start, "Dusty, how big is the jump from AA to the Majors?"

And I hope Scott Rolen knows he's going to need to hit a HR that day. Someone better inform him so he has time to get his body prepared.

Scott Rolen helped the Reds win a division title for the first time in my adult life.

Zach Stewart could pitch a no-hitter and find a cure for AIDS in the same day tomorrow, and I would still be happy the Reds made the deal with Toronto.
