This could go along with another thread going about players who we thought would be good but weren't. Sherman Obando was one of those for me. I saw him play at Class A Prince William, a Yankee farm team, back in 1990. My first year in the DC area. He looked like he could be a very good player. But never panned out in MLB.
FP Santangelo is now the Nationals TV analyst. He's pretty good too.

That's one bad lineup for the Cubs. Other than Madlock, who was a great hitter,Cardenal, who was on the downside of his career and young promising player in Manny Trillo, that's pure dreck. The Cubs must have been pretty bad that season.

Braggs may have been the only player who could have lived up to Big Klu in that type of uniform. I like these Uni's. Very classic look to them.

Braggs may have been the only player who could have lived up to Big Klu in that type of uniform. I like these Uni's. Very classic look to them.

This was the first time I had ever seen the Reds wear a button-up uniform. I was too young to remember the button-ups from the early 70's, and by the time I had started watching baseball they had switched to pullovers.
