Sam: I grew up in the Midwest, and Cincinnati has a Midwestern feel for me. I like the change of seasons. The people here seem to be “salt of the earth” type folks, and that makes the city feel quite a bit like home for me. I like the way that it’s a sports town even though it’s not a huge market. I like the history that’s involved with the Reds and the opportunity to return a winner to the city.

Good interview. He seems like a good guy to be around. The Reds seem like they have a lot of quality individuals on their team now. Probably one reason they are better.
