Understandable. When you win the NLCS, you get little perks like that. You really couldn't go wrong with either.

Yeah, thats the reason I was surprised though because vogelsong has only started 12 games, and Cueto has started 10.

Cueto should be in it. Vogelsong is nothing short of a 1 hit wonder. Johnny has actually improved slowly but surely every single season. Travesty IMO!

I'm glad none of our pitchers will be in the all-star game. They can rest up and pitch with a chip on their shoulder the second half without the distraction. Can't believe a manager would pick 3 of his own starters for this game....what if it goes extra innings and he has to use all three guys an inning or two???

That's a great point actually....but ya Giants 4 pitchers are a joke....you can make an argument that none of them should be in the all-star game.

1st base is always competitive for the All Star game. Had Votto been on a home run tear at the moment (20+), I would say he would have been named the starter. No starters, huh? Small market team...
