Is he doing a good job?Last year I was satisfied.I guess with Cueto's and Leake's results I shouldn't complain.I wonder how much clout he has when it comes to removing starters. It seems we're always a batter or two late when pulling a starter.

I wonder if he had anything to do with Cueto's Tiant(sp)-like delivery.I doubt it.

I think Ted Power (Loisville's pitching coach) might be more responsible for the success of the Red's young pitchers than Brian Price. Power was one of the most intelligent pitchers I ever saw, and was able to quickly learn and adjust to both starting and relieving with excellence in both roles. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Power up with the big club as pitching coach or MANAGER next season. I have a feeling he might make a great one. (this team will never win a title with Dusty, and have actually regressed this year thanks to his lack of discipline and failure to hold players accountable for their frequent boneheaded mistakes.

His pitchers are just really young. I have all the faith in the world in our pitching, it just needs a couple more years to get the consistency down. Leake is 23, Cueto and Bailey are 25, EV is 28 and TJ Surgery, Wood is 24, and thats just starting pitching, Chapman is also 23. Pretty big task to ask of these guys to come in at their age and dominate every game they play. I don't think guys realize how young we are and that we are going to be contenders for the foreseeable future.
