I'm a Time Warner subscriber and want to change to DirecTV. On the surface the Directv deal sounds to good to be true. Can some tell me what to expect in monthly cost? It can be on a 4 room HDDVR box in all rooms with every channel to a one room setup with HD and no extras.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I have a three room system with HD, 2 DVRs (1HD, 1SD) in Ohio
My bill is about $90 a month.

Three rooms, all HD, biggest package of non-premiums (Choice Ultimate) + whole home DVR + HBO for $110ish/month.
Also, check and see if your state has a "satellite" tax. My state imposes one that's around 9%. They had the gall to originally call it a "Satellite Privilege Tax" but it's since given a more straightforward name.
I've been very happy with the service for over 10 years.
