CINCINNATI -- The rehab assignment of reliever Jared Burton will move to Triple-A Louisville on Friday, when he is scheduled to throw two innings. He has not pitched in the big leagues all season since having right shoulder surgery.

Burton has thrown three games with the organization's Arizona Summer League team, totaling four innings. His last outing was two innings on Monday.

"It's been great," Burton said. "It feels as good as I've felt my whole career. It's so much more free and easy. I'm not getting sore after my outings, which had never been the case. My velocity is coming along pretty good. I was 91-94 mph in my third outing. It's only going to get better with arm strength."

Burton has spent the past month throwing at the club's player development complex in the desert of Goodyear, Ariz. He worked out and threw at Great American Ball Park on Thursday.
