Give us a reason to believe. This team has shown us nothing to make us think they have a strong finish in them.

How can you take a team seriously when, in the span of ONE WEEK, they sweep the defending world champs and then lose 3 of 4 to the two worst teams in their division?
Sad to say, but the question is not whether the Reds can make the playoffs; it's whether they can stay out of last place in the Central Division.
Now I don't hate Dusty Baker or Jocketty or Rolen or Arroyo or the team itself in any way, but this is the syndrome we have seen before
1970, 102-60, trip to World Series...1971, 79-83 4th place in the division.
1990, 91-71, World Champs...1991, 74-88, 5th place in the division
In 2010 everything went right and this year it seems that things have evened out. I probably should have seen it coming, but I didn't. I really thought that Arroyo, Massett, Gomes, Rolen, Janish, Volquez and Stubbs were that good.
