Fred Hutchinson- The Bear; a fearsome and wonderful manager.

Bob Buhl- One of those guys whose baseball card I always got a million of when I was a kid. #3 starter on some really good Braves teams behind Spahn and Burdette.
Harlond Clift- Underrated third baseman of the 1930s. There's a really good piece about him in the first edition of the Bill James Historical Abstract.
Ray Schalk- HOF catcher, one of the honest Black Sox. His nickname was "Cracker" which you couldn't do today, probably...
Christy Mathewson- Has anyone read his Pitching In A Pinch? It's supposed to be good, and I keep meaning to read it, but I never get around to it...
