Reds go 5-5 for the third consecutive time. Reds at 59-61, now in third place in Central, but have fallen to 10 games out of first. Reds are 34-29 at home and 25-32 on the road. Reds are plus 47 in RS/RA yet have below .500 record. Reds currently on four game winning streak. Heisey and Ondrusek on DL, with Sappelt and Travis Wood back up.

Offense - Reds hit 7 homers last night vs. Padres, which helps improve SLG to .412 with overall OPS up to .741. OBP is slightly down, now .329, and BA is slightly down to .259. Reds now third in league in OPS, tied for 5th-6th with Astros in team BA for NL.

Reds are fourth in NL in wOBA at .324 and wRC+ with 100.

Bruce now hot at .275/.353/.514/.868. Stubbs at .254/.327/.394/.721. Stubbs with 157 Ks and 46 BBs. Lots of young guys now playing, still very small sample for them. Frazier hitting the long ball at .805 OPS, with low BA. Alonso, the man without a position, with very high OPS 1.246, but relegated to pinch hitting.

Pitching - Team ERA slightly higher at 4.05, 12th place in NL. Reds FIP and xFIP are next to last in NL leading only Astros.

Starting pitching continues to improve from 4.40 to 4.36.
Bullpen, however, fell from 3.19 ERA to 3.44, tied for 7th-8th in NL. Early in this set, bullpen was poor, now saved by longer stints from starters. Ondrusek, on DL, now at 2.63 ERA and 1.27 WHIP. Masset now at 3.70 ERA and 1.54 WHIP. Each have struggled of late.

Fielding - Reds UZR second in league, trailing DBacks. Reds UZR/150 still leads NL at 9.1. Reds with 68 errors, tied for 5th-6th in NL. Only three errors in last ten games.
