Reuschel was ejected by home plate umpire John Kibler for arguing balls and strikes after Joe Morgan led off the top of the eighth inning with a homer to cut the Cubs lead to 3-2.

I started reading the book 1921. So far, very good,BTW. It's about the 1921 baseball season. Mainly about the Yankees and Giants seasons.
In it Rube Marquard was mentioned and how it came about that he was traded to the Reds. He played for the 1920 Brooklyn Robins who were in the World Series. Sometime during the series he was arrested for scalping World Series tickets. He got off on light penalties by the courts. The Brooklyn owner,Charles Ebbetts,took great offense of this though and vowed to trade him during the off season. Which he did to the Reds for Dutch Reuther.
