Rudy York- Spent the first half of his career in kind of a Yonder Alonso situation; Detroit had Hank Greenberg at 1B and Rudy couldn't really play anywhere else (they tried him at catcher, third and the outfield with brutal results). Unlike Yonder, though, Rudy was a drunk and a hell-raiser; "He knew every hooker in New York" recalled one teammate.

Bill Landrum, when he was with the Reds, would go 0-2 on every hitter, and still give up a ton of hits. Really strange.

Not sure why, but he was able to figure it out when he got to Pittsburgh.

And when Butch Hobson was manager of the Red Sox in the 90's, the Red Sox lost a lot of fans. He was one of the most disliked Red Sox of all time.

Many consider his defense at third in 1978 as one of the main reasons for their collapse. He also had a reputation of being a management boy. One of his nicknames was Daddy Butch.

I'd like to nominate the much-traveled hurler Chad Qualls 34. He has been with 3 teams this season alone...so far, that is.
