"of course an owner is only losing money if he values the psychic benefits of owning an NBA franchise at zero and if you value psychic benefits at zero, then you shouldn't own an NBA franchise in the first place. You should sell your "business" at what is sure to be a healthy premium to someone who actually likes basketball."

Malcolm Gladwell has the gift to understand the world on a level in which few of us could ever hope and can then explain it to the rest of us.

I like the Grantland site a lot. One way I measure good writing is if I enjoy an article even if I don't agree with what the writer is saying. They have some good writers over there.
