Henry Rodriguez was placed on the 7-day Disabled list. Jake Kahaulelio was activated from the DL.

Bad news. Hopefully it's not a complicated break.

On the bright side, the guy could probably use a break from baseball. He plays all winter, almost every day.

Nothing as of right now. It really could go either way.

Dayton lost 5-1. Torreyes had two hits and Hamilton pilfered #95.

Muddie or cin21: Got a multiple choice concerning Rojas playing so much 2B and 3B. Do you think it's:

a. because they want Gregorius to get as many reps as possible at SS,
b. because they think Gregorius is the better SS prospect,
c. because they want to develop Rojas as a utility infielder, or
d. because Rojas is not quite fully recovered from his shoulder injury?

Well, Villarreal had given up no hits or walks through six. But he couldn't get anybody out in the seventh and left with a 7-2 lead. Webb took care of the rest of the inning.

Soto was 3-5. Two hits apiece for Grandal and Rojas. The Carolina final was 8-3.

Terrible news.... I think he could be someone who could replace BP after 2012.
Has the speed but now with a broken ankle who knows how he responds.
I hope the time off doe snot mess with his timing....even if he needs the rest.

I think it could be a combination of A and C but more so of the former. However, before Didi was here, it was the same scenario with Rodriguez.
