Reds:

Harvey Haddix -Only a Red for one year- 1958- in which he won the first of three consecutive Gold Gloves.

Heinie Groh -Maybe the greatest 3B in Reds history, depending on what position you rank Rose at.

Others:

Ryne Sandberg (52)

Tony Scott (60) -Cincinnati native from Withrow H.S.

Ken Brett (63) -He was a pretty good pitcher, but you have to wonder how good he could have become if he'd focused on hittiing, considering his genes and his .261 lifetime average in the bigs.

I thought Tony Scott was British. I know Ridley is.

I liked Haddix...wish he could have stayed a Red just a bit longer. Nicknamed 'The Kitten' while he was a Cardinal because he reminded them of their Harry 'The Cat' Brecheen. You mentioned the Gold Gloves, chico...both Haddix and Brecheen were quick like cats...ready to pounce on that baseball.
