Decided to expand on my answers a little. I will add this disclaimer: I am a Vanderbilt alum and I married a Tennessee alum.

Best stadium (just stadium): Bryant-Denny. It's beautiful.

Best pregame (outside the stadium): Ole Miss. Any real college football fan must spend a couple hours in The Grove at some point in their lives.

Best pregame (inside the stadium): Tennessee or Notre Dame. Honorable mention to USC and that damn rooster crowing and the song from 2001: Space Odyssey. Makes you feel like the whole state is coming after you.

Best band: Tennessee (yep, better than Ohio State)

Best song: From Dixie with Love -- has been banned by Ole Miss and I agree with that, but man, that place rocked when they'd go into that song. Yea Alabama and Glory, Glory to Old Georgia are fun as well. Rocky Top can bite me, even though the Osborne Brothers version was played at my wedding reception -- I love her family.

Most welcoming fans to opposing fans: Ole Miss and Bama. The people at Notre Dame and LSU were super also. It must be said that when you're wearing Vanderbilt gear as an opposing fan, they're usually happy to see you and extend pity and courtesy.

Loudest: LSU. Scary loud. It feels like the place shakes. Maybe it does.

Best tradition (and mascot): They have a live tiger at LSU. A tiger. They park it, in its' cage, outside the visitors' locker room before games. You must walk past the tiger to get into the visitors' locker room. Honorable mention to UGa and Smokey... I like dogs.

Best "doubleheader": A day at the races at Keeneland before a night game at Commonwealth Stadium. Only the strong will survive.

Best campus: This is the only place I'll go with my alma mater. It's like a pastoral New England campus, with magnolia trees, right in the middle of Nashville. Very cool place, all my biases aside. Notre Dame is beautiful as well.

Underrated: South Carolina and Kentucky

Overrated: Florida and Georgia

Best overall: I was at the Auburn-Alabama game last year, so that colors my pick here a lot. I can't imagine a better atmosphere for a sporting event, anytime, anywhere. I'd have to say Bryant-Denny. I loved my trips to LSU and Notre Dame as well.

My favorite gameday atmosphere by far was when I went to the Marshall vs. Army game at West Point in 1998. If you ever get the opportunity to visit the USMA for a game, do not even hesitate. It is spectacular.
