Not a big deal probably wouldnt have made the rotation and he is out of options.

AAA fodder so its no big deal. I would take him on my 25+ team though, so if he washes out and relocates to Indy I will give him a call.

I'm now seeing that he was claimed off waivers. Not sure what report is accurate.

The Reds have exercised the 2012 option on the contract of 2B Brandon Phillips; declined the 2012 option on the contract of RHP Francisco Cordero; outrighted to Louisville RHP Jared Burton and RHP Daryl Thompson; selected the contract of OF Denis Phipps; LHP Matt Maloney was claimed off waivers by the Twins.
